Cancellation flight

If upon arrival at the airport your flight has been canceled, it is the duty of the carrier to offer a refund of the ticket or re-routing to your final destination you were hired.

You should also give you free food and refreshments, depending on the expected, and two telephone calls, fax messages or internet access, so you can post messages. Also, you are also entitled to an accommodation when needed and to transfer between airport and hotel.

The airline responsible for the cancellation of the flight must offer you financial compensation, which will be higher or lower depending on the kilometers between the airport of departure and arrival at the destination you had planned to travel.

In this sense, to claim the allowance are:

- 250 euros for flights up to 1,500 miles

- 400 euros for longer flights that are conducted within the EU and for flights between 1,500 and 3,500 km

- 600 euros for flights of more than 3,500 km

These amounts are halved if the retrasono exceeds two hours in the first case, the three hours in the second case and four hours in the third and last case.
